I've been grappling with this crash keeps popping up since I bought it. I lowered the graphic settings (which helped for a time, as well as lowered shadowing, etc) and updated my graphic drivers. It's working much better but still crashing. I looked up fixes and it appears this issue is unique, though I noticed it is common in other remastered games?

"CreateTexture2D failed with error code 0x887a0020"

And even stranger,

"An internal issue prevented the driver from carrying out the specified operation. The driver's state is probably suspect." (WTF???) And the application should not continue."

I've attached a screenshot. If anybody has any idea on how to fix this, let me know. My specs are:

GTX 1050
16 GB ram
Intel quad core 3 ghz

So in theory I meet the minimum and recommended requirements.

That attached screenshot didn't happen. Don't see it. At least you get an error code. When I do get the occasional crash my screen goes black and my system freezes completely losing all video signal. When this happens not even hitting the reset button helps. I have to power cycle my computer for my screen to come back. Never seen anything quite like it before. Luckily it doesn't happen that often and it's the only game I have that has this sort of issue. This is on an EVGA 2080 FTW3 Ultra with NVidia's latest Windows 7 64 driver version 452.06.
