I bought KoA some days ago but 'im unable to play it since the games crash constantly.
I tried all the troubleshooting steps provided by GOG in the "general troubleshooting/crashing in general" section.
I tried a clean boot in win10.
I turn all the graphics option to low/disable.
I reinstalled the graphics driver.
I turned off the automatic device driver update installation of the win10 update.
I tried to play in window mode.
I tried to play with and without the GOG player.
The game still crash.
PC specs: Ryzen 2400G, 32 GB RAM G.Skill 3200 MHz, Asus Prime B350 Plus.
Is there I can do to overcome the constant crashing or I shall opt for a refund?
UPDATE:
With the help of the GOG support the crashing problem is finally resolved: my oc ram modules caused this issue so i turned off the oc and the game run fine and smooth.
So if you have an APU + oc memory and the game crashes try the abovementioned fix and probably you will be fine.
UPDATE #2:
With more experimentation I tried to OC the integrated graphics (I have a Ryzen 5 2400G) up to 1500 MHz and the game is stable.
After that i OC the RAM modules up to 3200 MHz CL 14 and the game is again stable.
