Since two days Kingdom Rush Venge4ance has stopped working on my system. It complains that it cannot find steam_api64.dll.
I have already re-installed the game, tried the repair option, and tried renaming Galaxy64.dll to steam_api64.dll..
It seems that something has gone wrong with teh last updates. Mixed up files?

Game has been running fine on my fully updated Windows11 system.

Tried to install through Galaxy on a different system: same problem. Tried to install using direct download files: same problem. In all cases the game tries to access steam files....

I can confirm that Kingdom Rush Vengeance has also stopped working on my system since yesterday (without any error message).

My system is Windows 10 Home (21H2) with the latest updates and there hasn't been a significant change lately.

The same here. I tried to start it directly with "Kingdom Rush Vengeance.exe" and here there is an error message about a missing file "steam_api64.dll".

I thought so. GOG obiously mixed up Steam specific files and GOG specific files. Should eb easy to fix.

FYI: I installed the Steam version of Kingdom Rush Vengeance, dated march 3rd 2022, on the same system, and that runs without any problems at all.
