Is it going to be released today as on steam?
Spring, they say. So I do not expect it sooner than in a month or two. But it's okay, I can wait.
Spring starts around 20th/21st march, so not earlier than that.

Yeah, I don't get why GOG isn't day 1 too, it's not like they've got any third party DRM listed on steam so it'd be interesting to hear their reason.
Yeah, that really went wrong.
I stocked up on energy drinks, frozen pizza, and a ton of snacks so I could lock myself away for the next two weeks. And now I'm just sitting here, listening to friends who bought it on Steam spoiling everything for me.

But I'm not even sure if that's a GOG decision. I think Warhorse Studios themselves are behind it.
Probably some kind of exclusivity deal with Valve or something.

an exclusivity deal with valve LOL. no dude, they're delaying the DRM-free release purely because it would make it incredibly easy for people to reupload their game through torrents. this way, they entice a little bit more people to pay for their game, instead of day one, hour one, their game is all over the internet

That seems false, considering the game is already available on torrents.

Yea doesn't matter its always up on torrents I want to buy this game like i did with GoG last time so ill wait and thats probally ok in missing out of some weird bugs that day1 always brings
I am an impatient man, but if it is just a fews hours / days I might take the deal on Gog. If I have to wait for months to come, I definitly do not have the self-restraint.

Would be nice to have a definitive date tho. "Soon" does make me press F5 very often.
In news, GOG stated, they aim to release within a month.
It will give me time to play through Cyberpunk 2077 first .
I hope they find some way to release the game earlier than Spring. It sucks it's released on Steam, but if I want to buy it on GOG I have to wait.
Might as well replay the first game while I wait for the GOG release. Hope spring doesn't mean may.

Idk with 1 million copies sold already, they're not really hurting on sales. I hope the strong sales makes them consider revising the date up a bit. Besides, even though the game is already on torrents, many people are paranoid about using cracks and such.
