soooo I updated to 1.4.2 and went to do a shave and a haircut.....
all the dialoge for the bathhouse matron is invisible makes it kind of like playing russian roulette.
My issue is that with every patch, while something usually gets fixed, something else gets broken and destroys any enjoyment this game might provide.

The latest example for me in the screenshot is buildings and structures that don't load properly, which has only started happening since the 1.4.2 patch, while overall stability seems worse than before. Longer loading times, more stuttering, and most battles are simply unplayable now because of lag.

I give up now and my patience has run dry. Maybe in time Warhorse will fix everything, but this release has pretty much backed up why I haven't pre-ordered or bought new game releases since 2015. Why should I pay full price to beta test something that's not fit for release.

I made an exception for this game with the pre-order, but I guess it's back to my policy of waiting a year or so, then buying newer game releases and at the same time, getting a more polished product for a reduced price. So far, KC:D hasn't been worth the release price.

I'm somewhat surprised, my experience was the opposite. 1.4.2 so far has been performing flawlessly, though my potatoputer couldn't handle the HD textures, and I may have lowered some settings that were higher when I played before.

I do notice slightly longer load times during conversation compared to 1.3.4, but nowhere near the level of the 1.0 release.

My suggestion, drop some settings. The texture load might happened because your GPU is dropping things on account of not enough working memory for the demanded load (at a guess, anyway). Might help.
