On this game particulary, is easier to use mods on Steam than GOG?

I'm asking because not every game has the Workshop feature on by developers.

As a modder myself, i say gog version is better to mod than steam. Because the steamclient sometimes interferes with writing into the gamefolder.

In some games you can't forbid steam to update the game,
it makes some mods not working and you cannot prevent the game from the update,

On steam you actually decide nothing.
