Nexusmods is always my go to place when it comes to modding games. Steam workshop, while nifty and quick, just can't compare in complexity of what Nexusmods can provide.
And it doesn't require DRM..

There are also games like The Witcher 3 that provides a lot of good mods that Steam doesn't even have a workshop for, and they work for both Steam and GOG.

What Raizo886 said.
Nexus mods is my go-to site to grab mods. There are 118 mods at the time of this post.
Also, waiting for Vortex Mod Manager to be released with KCD support.
It's at alpha state now.
Probably will be a problem. Some Mods in TW3 via gog don't work because the modders have the game on steam. In my case some mods don't work also with the unification patch, so....

I hope the mods release in these days will work on the gog version of Kingod Come Deliverance, but the risk exist.

And i think is not right the gog version is penalized this way because the release date is this 27.

As far as I know steam version is also DRM-free so I don't see a reason why mods should be incompatible. Only issue could be if there is some time mismatch between patches I suppose.

As for Witcher 3, you should look for what version the mod was made (GOTY or regular). Some mods will not work on other version. But there is a mod (patch?) which makes both versions compatible with eachother.
As others have mentioned, Nexusmods(dot)com is reliably the best place to get mods. Even though I haven't got the game yet, although it's pre-ordered here on GOG, I was impressed by how many mods are already available at Nexus.

Unless there are any incredibly annoying bugs or interface issues that can be fixed with a simple mod or two, I'll probably just play through the vanilla game 'as is' once I've got it, before delving into any mods.

That said, for there to be so many mods available in such a short space of time, bodes well for future of the game and its longevity within the modding community, and that's never a bad thing.

I agree with you. Also, I keep checking Nexus to see which mods I have an interest.
Anyone knows which mod allows me to save the game anytime I want? I will probably need that one.

I think that would be patch 1.03. Developers agreed to rework save game system.
HOW DO YOU GET MODS WORKING UNDER GOG?

I got the third-person camera-view mod from Nexus, but it is set up for Steam.
It includes:
a PAK file
a user.config file
A KCD Camera Tool EXE file

Where do you put them under GOG ???

Isn't there a readme in the download or on Nexus?
