After longer playtime and restarting KC:D i cannot skip the intro sequence with 'E'. Further I cannot select any menu item after waiting the long time til the sequence finished.
I always have to manually fiddle with the profile settings in my C:\ personal folder to have the keys working again and have to setup the whole graphics settings again.
I hope this very annoying issue will get fixed soon. No other game with such problems here.
I use nvidia (latest drivers), Win 8.1 and 2560x1440 resolution.

I have the exact same problem. keyboard and mouse don't work for me in the game, but I can use my xbox controller. the game sucks though with controllers.
can you please explain your fix more in detail?

I go to my profiles folder (search for "kindomcome" on C:\Users\<your username>\) and change in default\attributes.xml the value from "1" to "0", so: <Attr name="res_fs" value="0" />

BUT I just discovered a way LESS obvious method.... Just turn off GOG Galaxy overlay -.-

VERY VERY ANNOYING GOG! And it's on by default afaik if one installs galaxy and a/this game....
