So there will be a Royal Edition released May 29th.

I have held out buying any DLC until such an edition has been released.

I would like to be able to "upgrade" my base game purchase to the Royal Edition upon release. Anyone know if this will be possible?

You can do it with The Witcher 3 but that's a CDPR game.

And WH actually answered to me on YouTube under new devblog that upgrade will be possible on GOG and Steam, so I guess we will have to wait a bit.
