I've just installed the game on Windows 10 on my HDD. Apart from ridiculous loading times - will move it to my SSD if it's going to work - i can't change anything regarding the graphics of the game. On all presets and every setting within the advanced settings menu, the game just looks absolutely identical. Nothing changes at all.
I installed the game with the standalone installer for 1.6. I tried all patches from this point - but no luck.

my system:
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
RAM: Ballistix Elite 2666MHz
GPU: Sapphire AMD RX Vega 64 Reference
OS: Win10 Pro

I tried running it as an administrator. I also used all drivers from 18.5.1 up.

But the issue persists. Does anyone around here have a clue what's going on?

Weird. Try posting on the KCD Reddit, which is much more active than here.

In the meantime I have been in contact with KCD support.

Deleting the "profiles" folder at <system drive>:\Users\<your account name>\Saved Games\kingdomcome helped.

Now I am able to change settings. Only strange behaviour is that I can not pick a preset below "high", if HD Textures are turned on. Settings below "high" within the advanced settings are saved and applied on the other hand.

So I guess the problem is not solved completely, but at least now I can set it up as I want it to.

If I can report a solution to the last bug appearing, I will post an update here.


EDIT: As it turns out, the last bit I thought to be a bug is just working like intended. Presets below "high" should not apply if HD-Textures are enabled.
