Went fine till the splash screens then it crashed to desktop and was suddenly gone from the library. I can't even find the folder anywhere, but apparently the space on my SSD is still occupied.

Edit: So I wanted to see what would happen if I reinstalled the game. Now it just says "Installation failed: Disk access problem".

another edit: found the folder. Manually deleted all the files. Will see if a reinstall fixes this mess.

yet another edit: Solved, I think. It was actually Avast fucking me over. I added exceptions for the Galaxy client and KingdomCome.exe as well as the whole install directoriy (just to make sure). Runs smooth now.

eboe: Having the EXACT same problem. Cutscene at the beginning, crashed to desktop, .exe mysteriously gone, couldn't repair the game file, due to Disk Access Problem. I tried redownloading the install files manually, installing it that way, and it threw a CTD at the same time, and then again deleted the .exe - it isn't in the recycle bin, it is just plain gone. This is... highly irregular. I'm ready to install it on another PC and see if the behavior continues. There are no codec issues, as this is a brand new laptop that has no codec packs installed on it.eboe: Just found that too. Gonna try it as well. GRR AVAST YARRR.
