What I’d like to know is whether I’m wasting my time trying to soldier on against the odds after the Beastfolk Apocalypse? You piss off the Beastfolk, they steamroll your tula – fair enough. But it is rather annoying to have the carls forcefully disband the clan shortly afterwards, even though recovery is entirely achievable within a couple of years. So my question is, can one actually beat those impossible odds or is the doom of your clan following the Beastfolk onslaught “hard-wired” into the programming?

It seemed quite possible in my case, considering my clan was leading a thriving tribe, seven nobles had survived (just enough for a new Circle), and there were loads of food stocks and treasures in reserve that could have easily been traded for new cattle. The only problem was that two turns later, irrespective of my actions, the carls would hold a "sobering accout" and then forcefully disband the clan, which I found to be a little bit out of character.

And the tribe was another dissapointment in this scenario: There were other clans with prejudices against the Beast Folk, yet having a tribe is absolutely of no consequence for the Apocalypse scenario, which is a little strange. I thought defending against the non-humans was one of the main motivations that banded the clans together, yet in the end it wasn't even mentioned in the epilogue.

The clan will always disband below a certain number of cattle (I think around 300 may trigger it).
