Just started playing the other day and ended up getting sucked in for over 4 hours playing a sucky clan setup and knowing it. Didn't care in the slightest though as we really enjoying all the different aspects of the game. I picked this up a while ago so I cannot believe I just started playing now! Oh what have I been missing ;)!

BTW, any tips from the experts? I have found some basics online about when to do certain steps and clan reorganization from the beginning. However, clan setup seems to be luck of the draw as I was an Orlanth clan and didn't have a decent Orlanth clan member for leadership...

Glad you’re enjoying the game!

I thought http://a-sharp.com/kodp/tips.html mentioned it but apparently not: individuals are called by the gods, they don’t choose them. And of course, no guarantee that someone who worships Orlanth is a good leader or vice versa.

Yeah, you can tell it's a good game when doing poorly is just as much fun as doing well.

Really appreciate all the work you guys have put into this. Seriously considering getting the IOS version for my phone and IPad. However, my wife and son have a stranglehold on the IPad so it might be useless LOL. Don't know if I'd enjoy it on the phone as much and I am SURE that it would take away from my work at the wrong times at the office ;).

This really is a good amount of fun. I decided after my first play through that this is the perfect game if you are a glutton for punishment. I was beaten down for a while as a war oriented clan,but later on I was rich had tons of vassals only thing was I ran out of clans to attack all were allies or vassals.
