When I play it with the adjustment to fit 640x480, it cuts off part of the left side of the screen and part of the bottom of the screen, which is very annoying.
Is there any sort of solution other than going windowed for this issue?

and just after I posted I got an idea... just get to your monitor settings use to automatic adjustment option, or just tweak it until the size is proper and voilà. It worked for me.
