Hey guys,

Am hoping some of you King Arthur (the Collection) veterans might drop by and post some of your advice, tips and strategies for those of us playing the game for the first time. I play a lot of different strategy games myself, but would appreciate some advice for this game, as I have just started it. Mostly what I am curious about, is what is the best way to develop my knights as they join up, and troops as they level up. I have heard the economy can be harsh towards end game, so is it necessary to worry about that this early on, or is it okay to first strengthen their martial/magic skills for battle early on? Also, when is it smart to start having more than one army? I just had Sir Mark join me (very early in game as I mentioned), and realized I can now split my army if I want, and send them separate ways to secure the area, and recruit more troops separately, but is this dumb to do, this early in the game? I am assuming at some point in the game, I will have to worry about defending acquired territory from the AI, but is that a worry this early in the game?

Anyway, just looking for some general advice and tips to keep in mind as I start my adventure..Thanks all!

I only played the vanilla game. I just leveler up my fighter hero like crazy. After a while I got Selee warriors lvl 5 and gave them Selee Door or whatever - the teleport spell. This enables my hero and his crew to instantly teleport anywhere. Since the selee warriors are fully upgraded, literally nothing kills them, and my hero himself has arrow deflection spell and cleave max. He kills any unit in 1 hit and with cleave that equals 6-8, so he basically won the campaign alone (not shitting). I only had 2 other heroes with max magic and healing spell so they could heal him if need be, but he had lifesteal on his weapon, so he was basically immortal.
