I can't see anything. it just starts and i hear audio, but nothing else
on windows 10 if that matters

I am having the exact same issue FWIW...
(Got it working five minutes later).
Instead of launching from GOG Galaxy, go to the install folder and run "GOGLauncher.exe" directly.
That resolved it for me...
