Norton has scanned my computer and says it has found a virus in the files downloaded from this site.
I have now deleted these files.
Anyone else had this??

Think about it. Would it make any sense for GOG to distribute infected files? Nope. This is a business with a large customer base.

Does Norton and other anti-virus suites give false positives? Most of the time it is! Don't worry about it. These days the only way to get a virus is to invite it yourself by downloading stuff from dodgy websites, clicking dodgy looking links in emails or instant messaging services. Stay off porn and warez sites and you'll be fine.
Everything Sufyan said is correct, still I am curious. Which file exactly does "stupid everything is a virus Norton" think is a virus?
I'm not running Norton, but I am running MSE alongside the paid version of Malwarebytes, and I'm also running the game. Nothing shows up as a virus with those two programs, so I'm going to guess a false positive, though I'm curious as to which file(s) it's flagging.

False positives are fairly common. I've seen them a few times before with other legit games using other anti-virus programs. If the game was downloaded from GOG, I wouldn't worry about it. I've owned this game since June, and I've now scanned it. Nothing shows up, and it's never given me any trouble.
