I've been replaying Act III in anticipation of Act IV's release, and I'm not completely through the chapter yet. If I download now, will my chapter III progress be lost?

I was replaying the game waiting for Act IV, as well, Galaxy auto-updated my game and I didn't lose any of my previous progress, so I'm pretty positive you can update the game and you'll be able to continue from where you left off.
