People on turrets ignore attempts to destroy gates, can you fix it? Right now people on turrents looked how hungry bandits destroyed first gates, then second gates and only when bandit hit someone in my base they started to shoot.
Also squad tab didn't blinked till first victim appeared.

I'm on version 0.98.55b downloaded here from GOG and turrets still appear to be a broken mess.

I built a base with a classic box trap either side of my main gate for a perfect field of fire, four turrets on either wall to cover the approach. My trained Skeleton crew simply fired into the air when nothing was anywhere near my base, and when anything attacked or started to trash the main gate, they just kept on firing randomly into the air.

Hours upon hours of grinding to gather materials and build an excellent base, all wasted because of utterly broken game mechanics. I've tried various work arounds, including SHIFT+F12 to fix any navmesh errors, but nothing has resolved the broken turrets and lack of aiming.

Strangely, in another save and in a different map location, I used exactly the same outpost design and everything seemed to work fine with the turrets. This leads me to suspect that there are certain areas of the map that might be broken, leading to this issue, although I am speculating there.

I've reached the point where it seems so random as to whether things work or not in this game, it's too frustrating to play any more. I think I'll wait until 1.0 finally rolls around before I dedicate any more time and effort to Kenshi.

I have the exact same issue. Had a base in Foglands that worked half-decently, still with turret nodes breaking randomlym but at least units would fire at the enemy.

Now at Okrans using an identical wall setup turrets break every 10 minutes and there a 50% chance my 10 gunners won't fire at enemies even if they are attacking the gates.

Possibly the most moronic thing about this is that the option (shoot first) does nothing to remedy this but it will result in you firing on people you have POSTITIVE relations with.

The only workaround I could find was to pull a gunner off the wall and have them shoot through the gate with a crossbow. Annoyingly it has to be someone from the gunner position to do it. Simply firing down from the wall with a crossbow won't work, neither will using one of your melee units using the crossbow trick, for some stupid reason it HAS to be one of your gunners..

Needless to say this turns your wall defence into a dysfunctional mess and a massive pain to manage.
