Today's update to the game is broken for me. Any time I retry to reinstall, it's corrupted.

I, too, am having this issue :( I uninstalled (saved my game save file of course!) and attempted a reinstall from the oflline backup installer. This didn't work either. I'm not a tech savvy person so not sure what to do?

Same here.

The downloader is 301 MB, Kenshi is 7 GB. Installs 3.4 MB.

Yep, 7GB down to 301MB will seem to cause a problem.

This is why I keep the backups on a NAS.

Workaround is probably using GoG Galaxy for now.

Offline installer doesn't work. I tried installing from Gog Galaxy and it failed install. Definitely someone screwed up.

Just bought the game, I'm trying to install it via the GOG GALAXY app but it continuously gets stuck on the 98% mark. I see in task manager that a Microsoft .NET framework 4.5.2 setup program is called from within my

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Dependencies\__redist\dotNet45

folder and remains as the most active program up until GOG reports the installation a failure.
I verified that I have this version of .NET installed so not sure why this program is being called.

I have the same issue. The update fails saying the installation is corrupt but i think it's the DirextX setup that is broken and maybe one of the other redists. The DirectX Setup failes with an invalid command line.

I even ran a verify/repair and the update still fails.

Luckily my game folder is still there, it's 11.4GB and the game runs. It's "Kenshi 1.0.65 - x64 (Newland)" according to the current version doc.

Sadly, mine also. The install failed and the game has disappeared too!
Hopefully GoG/Kenshi dev work out what happened soon :)

Adding my voice to the crowd. Same issue, got pushed a 0.1MB update which deleted game files for some reason, now the installer doesn't function. I was just starting a new Shek ninja clan, too. Mega lame.

Game still murked.

Put a ticket in if you haven't.

They should at least revert the update for us.
