Its more of a recognition color; a proof of being an official Representative thing. Right now it looks like you are a dedicated fan keeping up with the change-logs; that in itself is already great. But when ppl see that with the gold colors it adds the "they care enough to officially interact with us" bonus :)

Not sure how the rules are there exactly or how official the ties have to be. But I guess it the usual gogs business contact from the Kenshi devs have to verify you route.

I do not think it comes with moderation powers or even that these forums are technically able to be sub-moderated like the steam forums ;)
i can still do my duty without them
this forum doesnt really need moderating as its too slow. and i had already let the Dev know i was here to help. he most likely thinks like i do and this place really doesnt need the ranks atm nore the powers granted.

and i honestly do not need the shiny colors
so dedicated fan is more likely a good enough reason for now.
would change if we got like 5 messages a hour instead of a week. and if that.
