My desktop Windows resolution is 1440p

The game runs in a window, but 1080p window which appears to instead of having the window smaller than the monitor, it actually changes the Windows resolution while it is running, to 1080p.
Is there a way to make it keep the 1080p resolution without forcing the whole Windows to change desktop resolution?

Also, I tried to switch from the game, but the game crashes.
