When i start the game all run just fine until the main menu appears, then i can't select any menu option, i hear the "click" but nothing happens, music goes on, menu animations are fine but i can't even quit.
Changing resolution had no effect.
Disabling AV had no effect.
Any idea how to fix the issue?

Uninstall WIndows 10. Install Linux. :D

Just kidding! It sounds like a problem with having the wrong version of Visual C++ or some such nonsense installed that the game needs to run. Don't open up that can of worms just yet though.

0) RIght click the icon for the game and 'Run as Administrator,.
1) Find the game under installed programs or installed 'apps' (freaking Microsoft). Do a repair install if it allows it.
2) Try to uninstall it and reinstall it.
3) Find the freaking WIndows 10 game mode thing and see if that is mucking it up.
4) Try to run it in compatibilty mode for WInodws 8, then WIndows 7.
5) Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut down any other programs YOU INSTALLED to see if those are mucking it up. Don't force close a bunch of WIndows crap, WIndows 10 is already a mess.

That's all standard stuff to try. If none of that works, try to figure out which Microsoft bolt on junk it needs to run right and download that version directly from Microsft (make certain it's for Win10-x64). I haven't had to do that for a game in ages, but WIn10 is a mess, so..?

Thanks fo the reply Crogonint, i tryed all your suggestions but nothing fixed the problem.
I suppose, as you said, that's a visual C++ or some similar prog that cause the mess, but i'm clueless and nobody posted about a problem like this in any forum i searched.
I'll try to update all the windows crap that's not already up to date, as last resource.
I wonder if i can try to run this game in a linux VM...

I got ahold of the actual developer guy on Discord! He's a really cool guy. Reach out to him, I'm 100% certain he'll help you. ..I mean, so long as you actually need help. He didn't strike me as having much time for nonsense, but he's more than happy and polite enough to discuss various aspects of the game. :)
Be sure to come back here and report back how you fixed it. Doubtless other people will need the information. The developer might even want to release an update to fix it. :)

an AMD GPU. Worked flawlessly the last time I had it installed. But now, with a new install a couple months later....tada, having the same issues as OP.
