reddit has a sub. four or five posts and nothing being talked about.only ONE post here? what a shame. this is a good game.

anyway, in case someone stumbles upon this, just wanted to say that although i love the game i hate the fact that once you kill the baddies in scavenging mode, you're pulled out of the area - no more exploring or looking around, and the map marker disappears so no going back to it, apparently. i like to explore every nook and cranny, so getting pulled out before i've seen everything is pretty annoying.
Yeah, I came in to see if there was some discussion on some problems I'm starting to have with the game (which aren't bugs as such, just things its not clear how to approach) but with two posts, one about the OS...uhm...
I've manage to beat it with some 50s into it. I dont think its that great a game. But I can answer some questions.
I disagree completely, I think that it's a near perfect game. It needs just some modest under the hood tweaking, like the disappearing locations and etc., and it would be even more legendary.

As it is, this game is ripe and due for some expansions.

New areas / locations, studies, terrain. Seasonal changes in say Alaska or Canada? Teams hacking through deep jungle / forests / mountains, living off the land? Metro area with subways? Sea Travel? Post Apocalyptic life without demons and magic?

I could go for just about anything except aliens / Cthulu. Let's try to limit it to terrestrial Apocalptica, m'kay? ;)

This game could go far. Really far. It could put both Warcraft and Starcraft to shame. Oh what the hell, I suppose for expansion #7 and #8 they could do one with the Orc Hordes attacking and one with the Zerg invaders attacking, just to do a spoof. ;)
