I kinda bought this for the Arcade and bot-match modes, as I remember being distinctly underwhelmed by the campaign when I tried the demo back in the day, but the Arcade modes included with that were fun for short bursts. For $2.99 I decided why not.

Anyhow, in 'Battle' mode playing against bots, I seem to die as much from the game letting me fall through the level architecture as I do from getting shot. Sometimes I just get stuck in the floor. Sometimes NPCs fall through as well.

I've tried 2-3 different levels, but the issue remains. I didn't have this problem with the initial Arcade level, and I've not yet tried the campaign.

Does this happen for other people as well? Any solutions?
Which OS? Which GPU? Specs would help those of us that have the game to see what version is having problems. I just got the game so i can't tell you as yet, but what I can say is that on win 7 HP X64 I've found that on many of the older games on GOG there are some compatibility mode settings that seem to help.

try "disable visual themes" "Disable desktop composition" and "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" while choosing run as admin. I've found these settings seem to help a lot of the older games run more stable. I hope this helps and if I run into the same problem and find a solution I'll post it here.
Ah yes. Apologies for not including any of that, and thank you for your suggestions.

I'm running WinXP on a Core i5 Quad CPU (2.8GHz), with as much of 4GB of RAM as XP permits. I'm not sure if GPU could affect the game in this way, but it's a GeForce 8600 GTS.

I've now played a bit of the campaign, and have not experienced any such issues, so it really seems isolated to the Battle mode. Quite odd.
