I have three related questions about Pegasus Prime. One is, do the different past scenarios have to be done in a specific order? I don't want to know what the order is, only if there is one.

The second question is, should I plan on using items from one "time zone" in another? Or should I plan on the opposite? Something in the AI's exposition made me think that I was supposed to use items only in the time where they are found. However, I am pretty sure I've seen items in one place that I wanted to use in another.

Here's the other question: is there a way to leave a time zone and come back to it later? If you do this, does everything reset, or do you come back where you left off, or something else?
I can answer 1.5 of my questions.

#2 - items from one time zone in another? I can half-answer it. The game seems to accept it. I don't know if it's required or just acceptable. The AI just said "don't leave items from one time zone in another".

#3 - Can you leave and come back to the same time zone, and what happens if you do? The answer is "yes". And, what happens is that the time restarts, but objects you took will not appear where they originally were.

Still wondering about question #1, but increasingly I suspect the answer is "whatever order works for you is OK".
Well, I now know the answer to #1. RTFM.

The different zones can be done in any order.
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for answering your own questions! Those were my questions too, pretty much. I wish I had a more definitive answer on #2, but I guess I am just going to travel around and use items wherever and whenever I wish and see if there are any consequences.

Thanks again, sorry that nobody answered your questions last year!

The answer to #2 is "Yes" :)
They can be done in any order, but if I remember correctly, you'll have to visit different locations for items to use elsewhere. So technically, you have to do certain parts of certain locations in a particular order.

The game is pretty good at letting you know you won't be able to complete a puzzle without an item from a different location.
Really having a hard time finding the Bomb in the reator.
I go onto the gantry, rotate around, look around at each stop along the way, but there isn't an indication suggesting there is a bomb anywhere. Obviously I'm missing it, because others have completed it.

Go left twice from when you first enter the reactor room. It should indicate something's wrong if you do a diagnostic there.

Found out that the gantry has to be extended, somehow I missed the obvious
