Journeyman Project 3 is flat out unplayable. I've tried running the thing under various compatibility modes and even tried altering the software by replacing QuickTime.qts with a newer version (which just made the game crash entirely).

Issues:

1. Menus do not have text or graphics. Press F1, a box with a bunch of words and the buttons to close it appears; close it and text and graphics describing the game's various controls flash on the screen for about 1/10 of a second. Saving the game involves blindly entering things into a box with no text in it.

2. QuickTime video plays faster than its audio track. The videos play properly with VLC. This means the video finishes before the audio, and whatever audio isn't played back is cut off. It's substantial, like 30% faster or something crazy.

3. Because of above issues, I'm unable to figure out how to properly navigate, or maybe that's broken too.

I'm just going to watch a longplay on YouTube. Maybe ScummVM will eventually implement JP3 support (in which case you could buy the GoG game and point ScummVM at it), but for now I have no way to play it.

3. Download/Install GOG Galaxy

4. Install Legacy of Time

5. Enjoy a stable build.

I have this issue too, and I find nothing online about that, as if that's a rare glitch, but I have it on two separate PCs... If you find a fix, please let us know!
