Have just installed JP2 and it doesn't get out of the starting gate when I try to start it. Just a few blinks of the graphics settings changing and then back to the desktop. No error popups, just the "program has stopped" popup with the following info:

I'm running Win7 Pro 64-bit. Anyone else see this and overcome it?

JP1 and JP3 are running OK, albeit with differing levels of tech. It's just frustrating that I haven't been able to get JP2 running.

Running great here in Win10x64 version 1511...I've noticed that Win10 is often more compatible with older games than Win7--even Win8 was better than 7, imo. I have several games I couldn't for the life of me get to run in 7 that run fine in 10--was glad I didn't have to chalk them off permanently. The only compatibility options I am using for JP2 are

*run in 640x480
*disable display scaling
*run as admin
