Hey guys,
I bought Journeyman a few months back and installed it on my Win7 desktop. It worked flawlessly.
Now I'm trying to install it onto my Win7 laptop and it's giving me such problems. When I start the game, audio plays but not video. I tried the task manager trick but it does not work. The video still artifacts like crazy (if it even plays at all) and it seems as though I would have to alt tab every time I spoke to a character. (I opened up Agent 3's suit with anticipation but nobody spoke to me haha)
I also tried the windowed suggestion made in an older threat but that, too, did not work. The game opened in a black square stuck to the top left of my desktop and would not play video or sound.
I don't understand why it works so flawlessly on one computer and messes up on another, similar machine. The only important difference I can think of is the desktop is running two ATI cards and the laptop is running an nVidia card.
If you guys have any advice, I'd love to get this game working on my laptop.
