So. I've had this game for a while now, thanks to GOG. And yet every time I've tried, I've been unable to install this game. I've redownloaded it multiple times. I've downloaded it with Chrome, I've downloaded it with Internet Explorer. Both with and without using the GOG downloader. Both with my antivirus turned on, and with it turned off. Administrator mode? Tried that. Windows Compatibility mode for XP service pack 3? Tried it. The /nogui shortcut command? Tried it. UAC? Haven't had it active in years. And I've even tried more combinations of the above than I'm in the mood to try and count.

My success rate for successfully installing this game so far has been precisely &$%#.

Yeah, it's got me just a wee bit tweaked.

So! I'm open to recommendations, advice, occult rituals and animal sacrifices, because I'm coming to the conclusion that either the installer I'm downloading is being corrupted EVERY time somehow (and I'm inclined to call bull#@$& on that if that's the case), or that something's wrong with the installer itself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: This is what I get every time the installer crashes at the very end:

EDIT: Problem solved with the GOG Galaxy beta downloader. Heck if I know how exactly, but problem solved.
