Hey everybody! I was wondering if Journeyman Project 2 really needs 1.8GHz to run. Is anyone playing it on a slower machine? I'm trying to run the original game on my Netbook, and it plays fine but crashes when I try to save. So I want to get the GOG port, but 1.8GHz is a little higher than my processor speed. The original only took 33MHz, does the port really need such a high processor speed? I'd hate to buy it and end up with 2 non-working copies of the same game.

Any help appreciated!
I don't see why it would justify needing a CPU that runs at that clock speed. As you said, it was originally designed for the late 486/early Pentium age. I believe it's simply a baseline for games based around DOSBox (which this is not, it's a Win32 executable). You'll see that same 1.8 GHz recommendation across several other game pages here.
