PhilD: After all these years I finally finished the Jill of the Jungle trilogy! Yay me! *crickets*
Finding this single post on a barren forum to a free game made my day. Thank you.
Welp, I've just finished the first two episodes. Man, I loved the game when I was a kid, but I find it somewhat underwhelming now. Also a lot easier, though the controls are pretty bad.

Anyway, if I remember correctly the third episode was best, and the levels do seem more interesting also.
I was glancing through the 'free' games and came across this.

I LOVED Jill of the Jungle back when i was a kid, at least i only had the demo but it was enough.
I just finished the game as well <3 great to play this game again, missed it.

I know it states trilogy, but the game let's you choose from 1-4, but choosing 4 just exits the game... I feel like we are missing something?

I am guessing that what we are missing is the 4th game that actually introduced me to the Jill series, does anyone know if they are planning on getting this on GOG?

I remember the first time I completed all three games, in order, back in 1993, wondering why Jill would waste her time and energies on rescuing and then marrying such a lazy Prince, that wouldn't even lift a finger to attempt to bust out of the prison he was in.

no. its the way they made games back then. you inputed your choice, and choseing 4 was how you closed it.
(guessing you didnt play too many games back in the day of MS-DOS, eh? for some you had to know command lines to get to run or close lol)

I did play games back then yes, but I also know that this "collection" is missing a game too, that I used to play on my dad's old computer. That's the only reason why I thought and asked if that was why here. Or perhaps you don't know of this game and just assumed?

There is no missing game. There were only three. There is a pinball table based off this game in Epic Pinball.
There is also Vinyl Goddess from Mars, which had a working title of Jill of the Jungle II. It was cancelled by Epic, and apparently, sold to Six Pound Sledge Studios whom had to change the name.
it is true. i *did* make a guess based on what looked like a lack of familiarity with the UI. but that comment was referring only to how the choice to exit the game was option 4, and not suggesting of a 4th game.
but i made no assumptions about the game, i am familiar with it.

i wasnt aware that there was a pinball game featuring a table based on it, thats cool.

epic pinball is on gog store, btw, and Vinyl Goddess from Mars appears to be available as abandonware.

Haha, see that's where it is. So I apparently just knew it as a Jill game through my dad and that's how it is, halfway correct but also quite wrong :D I see now.

Still, I liked Vinyl a lot, but going with wikipedia on it, I get why they went with Jazz Jackrabbit instead, that game was way too much fun back then and quite the different speed too.
