The subject says it. When I try to launch the game, it shows the initial loading banner but then immediately crashes with a standard "Has Stopped Working" error box. I'm on a pretty typical W10x64 laptop with a 950M graphics chip, nothing fancy.

Anyone else? Any ideas?

I had the same issue. Turns out the game doesn't appreciate having DEP being enabled for it.

Make sure to either add Jazz Jackrabbit 2 to the exclusions list for DEP, or set it to only be enabled for core Windows programs and features.

If you don't know how to do that, I can tell you in more detail, or perhaps I'll be allowed to post a link by then, I can't actually post links here yet as a spam protection measure cuz I haven't actually posted here before.

FYI, this bug is fixed in Jazz Jackrabbit 2+ completely, so that's another option if you'd rather not fiddle with settings like that.

Well, I'm still having issues, but adding it to the DEP exception list did get me past the opening banner, so I'll go ahead and call this part "solved."
