I was able to install and run the game the first time. I played for some time and quit for the day.

Since the next day I cannot launch the game. A small window opens, I see that the game is trying to load (I first see the GOG popup) but nothing happens. The window is stuck and I have to forcefully close it.

I am using an Xbox controller. It worked fine the first time, I don't think it is related.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but kept my saves.

Any ideas anyone?
