I am just installing JA2 now. In the very beginning of the install process, my Avast antivir informed me of malware:
Filename: C:Program FilesGOG.comJagged Alliance 2dplayerx.dll
Virus: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}
Has any of you had the same experience? I chose to quarantine the file ("move to chest" option), as Avast could not repair it. Can I just delete the file?

Try turning off your antivirus software during installation. Sometimes, some AV software mistakes the normal installation activity as being a virus. GOG won't sell you a virus ridden copy of any software as that would be very bad business. :-)

Thanks Judas, I know that switching off my AV would help, and I'm sure GOG would never distribute a virus-infected software. I think I'm just looking for some assurance that no virus has slipped through their defences and software testing.
