I know that this is probably down to the publishers, but the pricing on the Jagged Alliance games is a bit nuts.
What I would like to see:
JA1 + DG packaged together as a single $5.99 purchase. Anyone who already purchased one of the two gets the other added to their account. Anyone who purchased both gets a voucher to pick another game.
I think it's great that the forerunners of JA2 are available here, but IMO they need to be priced cheaply if most people are going to be enticed into buying them. As it is, most people will just want JA2. If you make the earlier games a real bargain, many more people will grab them for the sheer value-for-money, and I suspect the overall profit will be larger. Admittedly this is gut-feeling from a non-business guy, but I'm basically just saying what it would take for me to buy them.
Likewise, I think that JA2 + UB should be packaged together as a single $9.99 purchase, when JA2 is available. Or just sell 'JA2 Gold' which is the same thing, I believe.
(I'm not entirely sure where Wildfire fits into things, but maybe Wildfire + UB is the all-encompassing combination? I think I remember reading that JA2 can still be played in its original form with Wildfire...)
I agree that $10 is a high price point. Yes, it's a classic, but the interface is also vastly inferior to JA2.
I also believe that the 10$ price tag for Deadly Games & JA1 is pretty crazy. Still not a great deal of money though.

I think we have to wait for JA2's release.
Need Ja2 !!!
JA2 is less expensive than JA1? Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this?
Far as I can remember, JA 2 Deadly Games started being sold along with these full-game CD magazines a long time ago, and typically that considerably drops prices of such games on the market. I don't think I ever seen JA1 being sold in a magazine.
