If anyone would like the Original v1.13 mod the very early mod I have a copy and if you want a copy of it post here and I'll send you a link for the D/L This version is one of the very first to come out so its basically v.1.12 with several nice fixes and enhancements.

Can't you just post the link, or is there some rule against it perhaps? :)
What are the main differences in the version you mention and the latest 1.13?

Well it is the basic 1.13 mod the 1st working mod in that mod version. It does not have all the guns bells & whistles the latest version has.
Here is the link for the v1.13 mod

this is the very early work. might even be too early for what you want.
Does this work with the GOG JA2 version?
I haven't tried it, but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't.
There can't be that much difference between JA2 1.12 and GOG JA2 1.12 with exception of the wrapper.
If you have GOG JA2, you can copy the directory it's installed in and than install JA2 1.13 to see if it works.
If it doesn't work, you can remove the directory and move back the copy you made.

GOG JA 1.12 works perfectly with the most recent, 83mb 1.13 patch, so I can't imagine a teeny tiny early 1.13 patch not working.
