Ok, the graphic was a joke when it was released already. Sure a big reason this game never had the success it deserved. But beside that, this game is a real gem.
A real clever KI makes it possible to play scenarios over and over again without knowing how they react. These mercs you hire have a soul. After all these years i still chuckle when they tell me whats wandering through their mind. Missions are challenging and not only once thanks to the KI. The Editor is very easy to handle and its fun to make your own maps (and you still find loads of them in the internet). And the best of it is the multiplayer mode. Fight your friends forces to the death or play a cooperative campain.
Fun and suspense in big chunks. If id have to choose one game as my all time favorite, this is it.
