Hello everyone! I've read somewhere that there is no need in getting JA 2 Wildfire because of some Patch/Mod for the classic JA2.

Can someone tell me the differences between these two titles and what are the ups and downs and what is that mod/patch I was reading about?

The biggest downside to 1.13 is the fact that it expects you to have played through the vanilla game at least once, and to have been following the development of 1.13 for a while. Otherwise you will (probably) be overwhelmed by the plethora of options one can customize, to make the game to his (or her) liking.
