Is the last patch NOW included?

Because someone in the reviews said its only Version 1.00F (the last patch is not included)?

Brilliant game, but the version on this site is NOT patched to the latest official version, which is 1.01 - NOT 1.0F. There are several bugs with 1.0F, and you cannot use the 1.01 patch yourself without reintroducing the DRM. If it wasn't for that problem It'd be getting 5 stars from here.

Can someone confirm please?

another question:

is the GOG version of JA2 (patch 1.12 included) the SAME like JA2 Gold Version?
Or is there still a difference between JA2 V1.12 and JA2 Gold V1.12 ?

I bought the gog Version, its patched to Version 1.01 !

Technically yes, ja2.exe is different.But gameplay IS same,ie both patches fix same bugs.

I recommend you just install gog JA2
Then go for JA2 1.13 mod
as doctorfrog already pointed out here.

I think its the same - i asked in different forums an no one said "yes - there is a difference".

All are worried about the different version nummbers,
because there exist mod's which working only with JA2 V 1.05 and so on...

For a beginner of JA2 (if you play the game the first time - like me),
its 100% said:

do NOT use V. 1.13 if you never played the game before!

You will not notice the changes and its more challenging,

Well,of course new players should start with vanilla version. (1.12)
Happy fighting! I'm starting new campaign under 1.13 right now. :)

The GoG version is JA2 Gold(1.12). You can install the 1.13 mod over it without any further p[atching but you must install JA2 Gold(GoG version) to a non-default location(re: NOT "Program Files" if using Windows 7.
