Jagged Alliance 2. I've been given a robot, and a headset to control it, but have not been able to find any instructions anywhere to explicitly explain how to USE the headset.

What exact things have to be done with the mouse and/or keyboard in order to make the robot function?

Put the headset on the head of one of your mercs (place it where you would place a gas mask, extended ear, nvg or sun glasses). Make sure both the robot and merc carrying the headset are in the same sector. I'm not sure if they have to be in the same squad.

If it's all set up correctly, a little headset symbol will be displayed in the merc's portrait. Now you should be able to control the robot as if it were a merc.

Thank you, that worked. To anyone considering how to arm the Robot, it doesn't have
very good aim with the Sniper Rifle I equipped it with, and it tends to be a little slow moving. Not sure if it can or will fire a machine gun on full Auto.
On vanilla JA2 the Steyr seems to be fairly effective but I mainly use it for hunting out enemy mercs lurking ready to ambush more valuable human team members. On the fan patch I had a load of fun equipping it with a 7.62 Browning MG and letting it play mini tank.
