I was told by Jack that native burial stone was stolen and I have to retrieve it. Next day Jack urged me if I don't find it soon natives will refuse to work for me.
I have canquered most of map by now (13 sectors remaining) and I still haven't find it.
If it's not too much hidden (I usually scour each sector) I only want to know how much time I have until something bad happens. WIll natives stop harvesting or something?

You can find the headstone on a small island in Santino's part of the island.
From memory that's a block of 9 sectors. You need to have the 3 sector in the 2nd row.
It is a sector with a lot of small islands which are connected by bridges. The islands are boobytrapped with mines. On one of the north eastern ones you'll find the headstone. It's on the ground.

***** 2nd spoiler alert *****

Tip:
Swim to the sector from the sector on it's rights. Equip your mercs with knives and save before entering the water. Grab the headstone and swim back.

Thanks, is there some penalty for not doing it on time? As I will probably get there in 2-3 days anyway.
As with all those missions you'll receive a drop in loyality the longer you wait.
So the longer you'll wait, the less workers you'll have available.

If the answer is correct, please mark the issue as solved.
Sector number is 23 (from memory).

I know, I know. Don't be so impatient. :-)

Thanks, I think I'll rather take a swim there to stop them whining.
So I got there by land afterall 1 day later. i expected Santino's (sp?) stronghold to be harder than it actually was. Bit disappointed by endgame. Sector 1 was OK but others could do with more soldiers.

I enjoyed the game overall but one thing that pissed me off seriously is Interrupt handling. Sometimes Interruput is aawarded no matter what. Enemy getting interrupt even when shot dead was ridiculous and amusing. Or sneaking behind enemy shoting him for 60 HP and he got interrupt and unloaded 4 bullets into Magic (L5). He had 61 or 62 HP as I reloaded and killed him by other soldier by one 62 damage shot.
Also interruptions in interruptions are absurd. Once I got Interruption of enemy. I shot at him (Ivan), he interrupted my interrupt and shot at Ivan. Then Grunty got Interrupt of his Interrupt and shot at him. He interrupted Grunty again moved few tiles and finished his move. Then both my mercenaries could play again (they had remaining AP's).
Good it's improved in JA2.

On to JA:DG now.
