The store says coop, but has anyone here done it?

You cannot play JA multiplayer without first installing the fan-made multiplayer mod thing (which I believe requires the JA 1.13 mod installed as well) and even then the multiplayer game is rather limited/incomplete and buggy (going from memory here. They may have finished or fixed many issues by now for all I know). I don't like multiplayer games so I cannot speak to the current state of that mod.

Do a Google search for "Bear's Pit Jagged Alliance Forums" to find out all you want to know about JA.

1.13 is for JA2 though

Deadly Games is the only JA game to have a multiplayer option. Originally it was shipped with an extra multiplayer disc that would only let you join a multiplayer game. I've never tried it out though. As far as I know there's no co-op mode but you can pit your mercs against another player's group.

Correct. Sorry...it was not clear which JA game you were asking about and I just assumed JA2 since that is the most popular JA game.
