Cambria's mine is shut down. I went to the 4th level and only to see what look to be eggs. Where do I find the queen? Should I destroy the 'egg looking' things?
Thank you. :)

have you been everywhere ? queen is out there, just kill her and dont forget to get some crepitus jelly in your jars and improve spectre armor.
This is a bug that happens sometime. AFAIK leaving and re-entering the level may help.

Yep, that fixed it. Thank you. :)
I've been back several times to the Drassen mine, and there are never any bugs down there. Is there a particular time to go down? (morning, before bug attacks in drassen, after?)
The mercs keep on saying various bug-related things on entry to the levels, and the game assumes there are hostiles about (can't compress time in mine, or move using map screen etc.)
I'm wondering if I'm just going to have to write off the Drassen mine and just ignore the bug attacks?
Seems you have to enter the mine just after a bug attack on the city above? Slightly odd.
Also got the special elixir, didn't seem to have any effect.
Edit: finally killed the queen - very tough! the positioning is exceedingly awkward. Wish I'd brought more gas grenades.

Crepitus are way bugged, sadly, and the area of the game most prone to errors.

I don't know. I always found the crepitus themselves to be the hardest. Usually you can just run in and out of cover against the queen without it getting any interrupts. It does take a while to kill, though.

I found the crepitus okay, just needed plenty of burst fire, they all came running to me.
The queen was a problem cos of the confined space, the gas/acid attack filled the passageway before the chamber, had a hard time with a couple of folks who were already injured.
