Anyone get this to work, downloaded and installd and now get errors saying i am missing certain .dll fles

get the lattest svn Version from Bearspit http://thepit.ja-galaxy-forum.com/index.php?t=msg&th=20380&prevloaded=1&&start=0

install it, go to Docs / Windows Compatibility Fixes > unzip > follow the Instructions in the "ReadMe for Win8 and Win10"

i suggest to restart from a clean install of ja2 if you found issues, usually to start a plain 1.13 modded game it doesnt require anything special to do past the installation.
then when you are fine with it you can start to check the forum about how to tweak it, edit the ini filles and install different maps.

This 1.13 will NOT install in the GoG version as the files have been put into directories so the patch cannot find them. What do we do?!

EDIT UPDATE: The version from the SVN site did work. It just bothers me that it says "unstable development version." :)

EDIT UPDATE 2: Nope, it locks up shortly after picking my crew. JA2 has never been stable enough to play. Dammit!!!

AFAIK the latest is far more stable than the old "stable".
There also are bug fix version for "stable" called "experimental 7"

I'm not aware of any specific difficulties with GOG version, then, I'm not currently playing either, so can't (won't) test myself.
