I installed Jade Empire on my netbook (Windows XP, 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM, Mobile Intel 945). After clicking on "Play" I get this typical error message that windows has a problem and if I want to send a report. I tried to change the settings etc. but nothing helps. Any ideas about that?

OK, I found an answer: 3d Analyze is necessary to force software tnl support. Hope that helps anyone who has the same problem. Still: Seems a netbook is not powerful enough for the game to run smoothly.
Netbooks aren't really good for most modernish 3d games, I would think?
Yes, I just thought maybe it wouldn't be that demanding regarding the hardware.
Unless you are playing old games, circa DOS through PS1/N64 era, chances are your PC most likely needs an AMD or Nvidia based gpu.
