So I was really excitied, when I bought Jade Empire. But I have to realize that the german version is censored? I'm a little bit disappointed. May be there is a simple way to fix that problem? So you can have blood & gore in the german version as well?

I would be interested in that, too. Searching a bit for uncut patches, it seems, there is one out in the net. But I didn't find a source where I was able to download it. Has someone a working link?
Found the solution.

1. You need to download a TLK-Editor for Jade Empre Download-Link
2. open the files "dialog.tlk" and "dialogf.tlk" with it and change the language to english
(to do that go on File --> Set language
3. save the files

It doesn't affect the language in the game! It will still be completely german, but the blood and gore option is now available.

Thanks for the hint. I will definitely try that next time I play the game. No time at the moment... :-(

Am I right, that the game will be uncensored if I install it with the english language? I mean, the game doesn`t recognize that I´m installing it on a german computer, it just looks for the language to decide if it should install the censored version or not, right?

Yes, the English version is uncensored, no matter where you install it.
Unfortunately, this method with this file did not help me at all (still no gore view option), and I am playing on the Polish version. :-(

It turned out that after each language change in TalkEd, you need to save in the File section. It's just that the information on the forum was not very accurate. Now I have the gore option in the Polish version.
