You can choose the language prior to downloading the game. If you go to "Account -> Library -> [Game]" (with [Game] in this case being Jade Empire) you will find a drop-down menu above the download link. Click on it, select the language you want to play the game in and the download link will change accordingly (i.e. if the button said "Windows installer, English" before, it will now say "Windows installer, [language]" with whatever language you chose before.

Keep in mind that some versions of the game are censored, they don't contain the graphical effects for the Harmonic Combos because they weren't present in the priorly sold versions of the game, and since GOG doesn't want to get the game rated again (which costs quite a lot of money) they have to distribute the games as they were in content when they were last rated.

I've downloaded the Italian version from GoG of this game, installed and I found it in English.
To change the language, run the "Language Setup" executable. You can find it in the installation folder.

I really wish I could help you but im more behind then cosby in jail. I pretty much just found out Jade empire and kotor 1 and 2 were available on pc. :)

I originally thought they were xbox only.
