This is a really nice game. It really is. Pretty graphics, cool music, funny dialogues, really engaging gameplay.

I made one fatal mistake, though: I entered the master cave. The master cave is an optional dungeon which you can enter as soon as you have collected all four items, but without necessarily having finished the main quest. And that's exactly what's happened to me, I didn't clear out the castle and see the end boss, I don't know how the story will play out, because....
I AM STUCK FOREVER IN THAT DREADFUL ROOM #5 OF THE MASTER CAVE!!!!
How can I be stuck in the age of Let's plays and youtube walkthroughs, you ask? Well, I know the solution, but it requires a very precise timing, a specific button combination.... and I just can't pull it off even after over 20 tries.

So I give up. This post isn't just a rant, though, it's a warning: this is a really nice game, one that I heartily recommend. Yet if you just want to enjoy your ride and you don't have the reflexes of a speedrunner: STAY OUT OF THE MASTER CAVE!

I'm not sure if you've found this since, but you can actually leave the master cave. I'm also in room 5, and also stuck at that part because it's quite difficult to time it. However, I can use the door that I used to enter the room to go back to room 4, and then use the same method to go back room by room to the cave's entrance and exit it.

That's good to know, thank you. I've already uninstalled the game and watched the ending on youtube anyway.

I'm with you. I'm stuck on room 9 or so. The precise timing gets even MORE precise. I wish I could slow it down or hack the number of portal blocks I can have available.

Edit: As an update I was able to get through the Master Dungeon with a little bit of help. But the problem I had been having was not realizing that I could freeze turnips temporarily. Which made the puzzle infinitely easier, even with the time constraint.

Wow, thread necromancy! It's aliiiiiiive!
Just kidding. ;-) It's nice to see people are still playing this game, it really has a lot of charm. Have you tried Card City Nights, the next game by the same dev? I haven't yet but I am looking forward to it.

Good to know they're still developing. Never played it. Is it on Humble or one of those?

Edit: I do enjoy the art style. Reminds me of the 90s cartoon with the psychiatrist.
