Whenever I select a file to start a new game the screen changes to a black loading screen, then it automatically freezes, I tried using full screeen and was forced to deactivate my computer, I used many methods, changing the compatibility, run as administrator, and many others, nothing seems to work.

I don't think I am the only one unfortunate enough to suffer from this since I googled the issue and there were some topics in the Steam forums about this, but none had the solution, please sombody fix this issue.
